       A healthy diet combined with regular exercise are the best ways to improve lung and immune system health.

1. Garlic and Onions

These pungent spices are great for lung and heart health. They have anti-inflammatory, cholesterol-lowering, and anti-infective effects.

A study published in the journal Cancer Epidemiology found that smokers who regularly ate raw garlic had a 40% lower risk of lung cancer than those who didn’t.

2. Ginger

This spice has anti-inflammatory properties and promotes the removal of pollutants from the lungs. Ginger can help with ventilation and clear the airways which promotes lung health and improves respiratory system.

3. Chili

Legumes are all high in magnesium, a mineral that contributes to healthy lung function. They also provide essential fatty acids, which are good for the cardiovascular system.

10. Carrots

Carrots are rich in vitamin A, vitamin C and lycopene, which are great for lung health and reduce the chance of developing lung disease. Researchers found that drinking carrot juice can help prevent lung cancer in smokers.
